Althoff Sales & Service, Inc., was founded by George and Delores Althoff in the mid 1950’s with an emphasis on service for the dairy farmers of Western Wisconsin. Initially, barn equipment, barn cleaners, and ventilation equipment were the main thrust of a rapidly expanding market.
By the early 60’s, automated feeding equipment and silos were added to help alleviate some of the labor for growing farms and herds. Watering equipment, roller mills and manure handling equipment soon followed. By the mid 70’s George was on of the top producers in silo sales, feeding automation and barn equipment. Always with an emphasis on available service, the business continued to grow.
Today, Althoff Sales and Service continues to serve the needs of dairy farmers in the tri-state area, and has also forged a reputation for serving the needs of grain farmers as well by adding grain bins with complete construction of both drying and storage bins.
